Die Kunstsammlungen Chemnitz präsentieren in der zehnten Ausstellung der Reihe Junge zeitgenössische Kunst aus Sachsen im Museum Gunzenhauser Werke des in Karl-Marx-Stadt geborenen Künstlers Wilhelm Frederking (*1982). Unter dem Titel Theories of the deep understanding of things werden Gemälde, Plastiken, eine Papierarbeit und ein Video aus den Jahren 2014 bis 2017 gezeigt.
